Gourmet Book Club
'rituals':
1)The "Birthday Girl" each month shall choose the book for the next month
2) We'll choose our books and meeting times for two-six months ahead, so
that we can avoid the last-minute scheduling and struggling to find a
current book.
3) We’ll do our best to choose a book that no (or few) members have
already read.
New Agreements (9/07)
1) we'll
continue meeting once a month;
2) that all are welcome, whether or not they have been able to finish the
book;
3) that we will continue to bring gourmet foods to share;
4) that we will lay out 3-6 books ahead so there is less struggle to find
the book and read it;
5) that we will lay out dates for three months ahead;
6) that we will designate hosts, a volunteer researcher to present
information about the author and a volunteer to create some
discussion-oriented questions for each meeting.
